THE BEAUTY OF ‘BLANK COOL ONE’ (BLANG KULAM)

(May 9, 2013)

Well well hi there, buddy!

I’d like to tell ya about my ‘middle’ weekend. I and my friends decide to go to Lhokseumawe, Aceh. They are Ijal, Muja, Idhoo, and Dana (Muja‘s friend). We rent the car and the journey is begin. Yaay!

Muja and Dana were acted as a driver. But, the real driver was Dana. Since, Muja wasn’t mastered it well (We all worried when he drives us).

Generally, the route from Langsa to Lhokseumawe about 3 hours by car. But, in fact, we spend about 3,5 hours to make it through. Maybe it caused we were stopped by at Lhok Nibong for a while (Muja wanted to bring some gifts to his family at Lhokseumawe).

But, I’m wondering the crisp of sweet potato which sold in there was from Langsa. So, this make sense that if want to come home to Langsa, don’t ever buy some gifts in that place, cause it was made from Karanganyer, Langsa (Hell yeah, my little town gets something to be proud).

After we make it happened to Lhokseumawe, we rest for a while during we enjoy our lunch and do a pray at Muja‘s family. We were decided to go to a forgotten waterfall in Aceh, Blang Kulam (I’d rather said it as ‘Blank Cool One’). From now, we call it like that, okay? Don’t debate with me about that -_-

We pick that spot rather than Ujong Blang (Call it as ‘U Join Blank’, girls) because that spot was forgotten by people and the nature was so beautiful in there. Truly, we have to find the route to that waterfall from googling anywhere. Also, we have to ask the people around there.

So, I’ll guide you to go to that place (Maybe I’m not so good like Google Maps). First, find a crossroad in Cunda (before city of Lhokseumawe) near the coffee shop ‘Simpang Buloh’. You can see any pamphlets in there which say a way to Blank Cool One. From there, pass through the SMA 5 of Lhokseumawe and nearest military office. Just go straight away where you stop in the other ‘big’ crossroad in the village of ‘Blang Awoe Panjoe’. At the end of the road, you will find another crossroad, pick the right one till you make it to ‘Keude Beureugang’. In that small village, just follow the main road and move your ride till you find the farms of oil palm, betels, and a lot of bushes (Just don’t hesitate to ask the tree ups the nearest people in there if you lost, man).

And after a long journey, pay attention to your right side at a damaged house. It is written ‘JALAN AIR TERJUN BLANG KULAM’ on its wall. Pretty sweet, huh? Now, you can jump around. Just a few step, finally you reach our goal :D

We were parked our car and the parking officer was asked us to pay Rp. 5.000,00 for each head. So, we had to pay Rp. 20.000,00 to that suspicious officer (The driver was uncount cause we’ve got the discount here, oh gosh).

Our eyes get brighter directly after see the beautiful landscape on the entrance. Wow, I take my cutie bunie sweetie phone (Still remember my previous post about her? Love it) and surely take snaps of ours. (Be patiet, you can see our photos in the end of this post).

From there, we take our asses and get ready for the a long hundred stairs. It was said that the stairs about 660 levels. You’ve got to be careful cause it was extremely so sheer. Oh yes, I feel weird that generally we have to climb to reach to our goal, but this is so different. Instead for climbing, we need to go down to look for the Blank Cool One. Whatever!

We were arrived at the end of stairs. And we thank to Allah cause we are allowed to see those beautiful scenery of waterfalls. And we can’t wait to take another snaps. And swimming, of course. Yaaay!

Here they are my precious screenshot that I take on that place. Gimme some nice rating, man!!! What do ya think about my skill of photography, huh? Pretty suck, aren’t they? -_-

And these are the nominators of the handsome boy of this week (Vote by your heart, don’t judge anything for their covers) :)

  1. Kapkivos Kehm is praying for his unfinished thesis
  2. Ijal Gitu is smilling and hope that someday he will marry a richest woman ever
  3. Muja Keren is like an innocent baby, but his face isn’t. Am I so cruel? :’(
  4. Delgado Idhomovic is smilling like endless wind. Look how cute he is (I don’t know why I want to vomit right here, right now)

NB. Whenever you go to this place, don’t forget to bring your pinky bikini. You know why? Cause the real occupant in there, Monkeys, seem to be so lonely. Please, be friendly with them and attract them with your pinkish charming. Why so serious? :D
